In addition to being a licensed educational psychologist, she holds a Pupil Personnel Services credential and possesses comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders. Carolina is deeply passionate about identifying children's strengths and understanding their unique learning profiles in order to help them reach their full potential. Her background in education gives her valuable insights into how children's disabling conditions can affect their academic, social, and behavioral performance.

Her expertise lies in conducting thorough linguistically and culturally appropriate assessments. She is skilled in developing and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs and collaborating with other professionals to create effective support plans.

In her spare time, Carolina enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and camping. These activities outside of her professional life provide her with moments of relaxation, happiness, and inspiration, allowing her to bring her best self to her work and relationships.

Dr. Marsha Chinichian was born and reared in Illinois by immigrant parents. While she was curious about interpersonal dynamics she observed early on, her environment was mainly focused on acculturation. At age 24, Dr. Marsha took on a leadership role in the business world filling management positions in process design, operations, training & development, sales, and quality assurance. Although she found her work rewarding, the dynamics of the people around her continued to capture her focus.

After almost 10 years in banking and finance, she made a career change to clinical psychology to reflect the altruistic values she was raised with, ultimately combining psychology with her business background. Having an interest in the business world, Dr. Marsha connects with professionals who are exhausted by stress and supports her clients in understanding themselves, breaking down limiting beliefs, and realizing their complete potential. She believes that our strengths are our gifts and are meant to be shared.

Dr. Marsha's clinical training is in child and family systems with a specialty in trauma, ADHD, and autism. Dr. Marsha held a post-doctoral fellowship position at UC Davis MIND institute, an internationally-recognized institution for the research and study of neurodevelopmental disorders. Specialized training through the LEND program provided Dr. Chinichian with leadership and advocacy skills for children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, Dr. Marsha is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University, Graduate School of Psychology.

Michelle Barahman, Ph.D. is licensed as a clinical psychologist in both New York and California. She obtained her doctorate from St. John's University and has both clinical and research expertise in health, clinical, and neuropsychology. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan, and from a vast array of sociocultural and medical backgrounds with complex comorbidities.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Barahman serves as a Staff Psychologist in the Primary Care-Mental Health Integration Program at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, where she conducts evaluations, provides behavioral consultations, and delivers evidence-based interventions to our veterans. Previously, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Senior EAP Consultant, offering support to trainees, and physicians. She served as a clinical consultant and liaison, advocating for early intervention and promoting emotional wellness within the organization.

Dr. Barahman actively engages in volunteering efforts, including guidance on the creation and implementation of play therapy-based interventions for children with chronic illnesses and psychosocial stressors. She also provides supervision to doctoral students who offer therapy to migrant refugees and asylum seekers at the US-Mexico border. In her free time, which she has little of, Dr. Barahman enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, dancing to good music, and arguing about where to find the best pizza.

During her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of California, Davis, Heather gained valuable research experience. Additionally, her personal connection to autism through a sibling has fostered a deep understanding of the triumphs and challenges faced by families supporting individuals with autism.
