Michael Johnson is a seasoned finance MBA, Digital Marketing Entrepreneur, and proven brand strategist who successfully launched the first Certified Minority-Owned Beverage Company in the U.S. with nationwide distribution and compiled an advisory board that included the former COO & CFO of Vitamin Water. Johnson has led cross-functional teams in collaborative efforts to drive channel sales revenue for Fortune 500 companies, including the Ford Motor Company, Colgate-Palmolive, Burger King, HSBC Bank, AstraZeneca, and Time Warner Communications.

Johnson was selected as a Top-5 finalist out of 200+ companies in the 2024 “AI for Good Entrepreneur of the Year” pitch competition hosted by the United Nations. He was invited to represent AI Entrepreneurs from the U.S. and Canada at the AI Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland. He received the 2016 NV Magazine award for “Outstanding Leader in Technology,” the 2015 Long Island Economic Development “Minority Business of the Year” award, and he was honored as one of the 2011 Washington Post’s “Root 100”.

Michael Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis.

Kurt Grutzmacher
Chief Data Scientist

Kurt Grutzmacher, a renowned Data Scientist and Systems Architect, helps guide ASD.me's use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has a 30 plus year history in computer networking, security and applications development building applications and products used by high profile industries to collect, analyze and provide insights into the threats, weaknesses and vulnerabilities. He has created and led teams that conducted penetration tests, vulnerability assessments and architecture reviews for the U.S. Federal Reserve System, Pacific Gas & Electric and the global customers of Cisco Systems and Cylance, with a strong focus on the security of embedded medical devices systems, such as Infusion pumps, for secure PHI data collection, device management, and patient safety. .

Mr. Grutzmacher has developed, deployed and managed large networking infrastructures, data collection and analysis platforms. While at Cisco he helped pioneer the OpenSOC project, a novel method of using Apache Hadoop technology to gather and analyze extremely large amounts of network traffic, protocol metadata, intrusion detection systems, and other sources of security-related telemetry for analytics.

Greg Franklin

Greg Franklin has over 25 years of public service experience. He has served as Assistant Secretary of Health Information Technology at the California Technology Agency, Deputy Director of Health Care Operations for California’s Medicaid program, and Assistant Executive Officer at CalPERS where he directed the purchase of health coverage for 1.5 million members at cost of over $5 billion.

Greg’s experience also includes holding deputy director positions in the California Department of Health Services over Health Information and Strategic Planning, Office of Vital Records, Center for Health Statistics, and California’s Office of Multicultural Health.

Most recently, Greg closed over $100 million in product and services deals while leading Optum’s State Government Solutions Western Region as the Vice President of Business Development. Additionally, Greg is retired from the United States Air Force Reserves as a Health Administrator after a distinguished career of more than 25 years.

Along with an extraordinary career, Greg also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and a master’s degree in health administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
